Screen Printing on Paper: Beginner

Service Description

Inky Hands offers one-day screen printing workshops which cover all of the basics of screen printing. Attendees will learn first hand how to properly coat, expose, print from and clean a screen. Differences in inks, printing substrates, screen mesh and film work will all be discussed, and multi-color registration techniques will be covered (plan on printing 2 colors). No experience is necessary for the one day workshop and they are open to anyone who wants to learn how to print! This course is not sufficient training to become an Open-Access Member. Please enroll in the Beginner Short Course. Please bring your own 2 color artwork on Vellum paper or thin white paper (drawn with India Ink), photoshop stencils on acetate will not be created in this class. *studio materials included, including 18 x 24 inch printmaking paper
